Tove Alexandersson is awarded Athlete of the Year 2016 by the IOF. To mention some of her achievements in 2016: World Champion and European Champion in long and middle distance, two gold medals at the European SkiO Championships and overall world cup victories in both FootO and SkiO.

16/12/2016 || McLaren report: No sign of organised doping activities in Russian orienteering ||News||

Based upon analysis of the updated McLaren report, the IOF concludes that no revision in the previously communicated IOF statement or Policy is necessary. There shall continue to be no restriction on the participation by Russian athletes in IOF events and IOF Events planned to be organised in Russia will be completed as planned.

16/12/2016 || Nations and athletes qualified for The World Games ||News||

The list of qualified nations and athletes for The World Games in Wroclaw, Poland 25 – 27 July 2017, is now complete. In total 40 men and 40 women will compete in the Sprint and Middle Distance competitions, and 17 national teams are qualified to compete in the Sprint Relay.
