Matthias Kyburz: “No problems on the course”

Matthias Kyburz had no problems in the technically challenging Sprint distance in the centre of Lausanne. He could smile again as he so often does. “Why I am so good at Sprint? I have grown up with it. I also like it that everybody isn’t doing it, and I can run pretty fast too”, Matthias says.
The 23-year-old Swiss star had a margin of 17.5 seconds to Matthias Merz in second place. That is a pretty big gap in Sprint, but it was a challenging course with a lot of tricky legs. “But it wasn’t the most difficult Sprint I have done”, says Matthias.
Now is he heading for the Long distance. His target is to be among the six best.
