200 banners advertise the Championships

There must be few in Lausanne who are not aware that there is a World Orienteering Championships taking place here.
A giant banner is prominently sited just outside the main railway station, and large advertisements are posted in all of the city’s 250 buses and trolley-buses. For the past month, 200 banners on high flagpoles have been promoting the event throughout the city.
Thanks for all this goes to the city of Lausanne, which has ensured that the Championships are not going unnoticed in the Olympic capital.
