The final entry deadline for World Masters Orienteering Championships 2012 in Germany is almost here: registrations can be submitted untill next Thursday, 10 May 2012.
The World Masters 2012 will kick off on 1 July with Sprint Qualification in Bad Harzburg. During the course of the week, the World Masters will take the competitors to Goslar, Drei-Annen-Hohne and Clausthal-Zellerfeld before returning to Bad Harzburg for the Long Final on 7 July. The Championships will take place on both sides of the former border between East and West Germany: “All participants will be able to imagine what has happened in the last two decades to a country that was separated for more than 40 years and then came together again. You will still find some interesting distinctions, even in the forest”, promises Vice President of the Organising Committee, Eike Bruns. The full interview with Eike was published in the first issue of Inside Orienteering in February.
The organiser currently reports almost 3900 entries. Don’t miss the biggest IOF event of the year – register now!
