WADA 2012 Prohibited List now available

World Anti-Doping Agency has now published the 2012 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods. The List will take effect on January 1, 2012.
One of the most significant changes is the removal of formoterol from Section 3 ‘Beta-2 Agonists’ of the List when taken by inhalation at therapeutic dosages. Taking into account recent research results and requests by members of the sports community, inhaled formoterol at therapeutic doses is from January 2012 on no longer prohibited.
2011 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods, effective until 31 December 2011.
2012 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods, to be effective on 1 January 2012.
