A visible orienteering week

Orienteering World Cup kicks off on Thursday 16 June, when the first stage of the Nordic Orienteering Tour takes place in Porvoo, Finland. There is live TV broadcast from the event, and the Finnish Broadcast Company YLE provides the live broadcast also online. Nordic Orienteering Tour continues next week in Gothenburg, Sweden and Oslo, Norway. The winners of the Tour will be crowned 25 June.
At the same time, MTB orienteers head for Sweden, as the country organises for the first time a major MTB orienteering event: second round of the MTB Orienteering World Cup, and World MTB Orienteering Masters Championships. The events take place in Rättvik, Dalarna.
This weekend the traditional Venla and Jukola relays will be organised in Finland. YLE will broadcast them live, and also that programme is available online for viewers from all over the world.
