More information on the TV sendings from the World Ski Orienteering Championships
Posted on | March 14, 2011 | Category: News
As earlier announced, the races at the World Ski Orienteering Championships 2011 will be broadcast live via web-TV. In addition, a short video will be prepared each day with highlights from the day’s race. These videos can be used for TV news or similar programs.
The TV broadcasts will start approximately 10 minutes before the time for the first start each day as per the schedule on the Championships website. Short summary videos of each day’s events will eventually be available on the website as well. For the spectators at the arena there will be a large-screen TV showing the action from the ski trails for the first time in World Ski Orienteering Championships history. GPS tracking will also be used for the top skiers to help spectators to follow the performance of their favorite ski orienteering heroes.
