Six Bids to host the 2008 World Championships for Juniors and Masters

Later this year the IOF will appoint the organisers of the Junior World Orienteering Championships (JWOC) and the World Masters Orienteering Championships (WMOC) in 2008.
For the 2008 JWOC there are three candidates, namely Israel (Galilee), Italy (Trentino), and Sweden (Goteborg).
Applications to host the 2008 WMOC have been received from France (Vallée de la Vézère), Portugal (Leiria and Marinha Grande), and Slovakia (Piest’any).
The bids will be evaluated during the next few months and a final decision about appointment is expected in August/September 2005.
