Application documents for WMOC 2021 published

Application documents for the World Masters Orienteering Championships (WMOC) 2021 are now published on the Application forms page.
New Application structure
The application documents have a new structure which all IOF Event applications will follow:
- Guidance notes – Describes the Key concept and application procedure. Describes Key areas of interest for an organiser.
- Standard IOF Agreement – A copy of the standard agreement that will form the basis of the formal agreement that will be signed after an organiser/bid is appointed. This agreement has details in key areas regarding the Event.
- A Standard Application Form – This document will be the standard form to fill in and will be the basis of the formal application.
New Application Overview 2018 to 2022
IOF will also release an Application overview document that specifies the upcoming events up to 2022. This is the effect of the Competitions review project outcome, that was decided upon at the General Assembly in Strömstad 2016, and has made the annual event plan more stable and predictable. The document will be helpful to potential organisers/bidders listing the events and application dates to come, as well as more guidance around event dates and the combination of Championships at events. The Overview will be published in early October 2017.
New application end-date
Due to the new structure of the application documents, IOF have decided to extend the application period of all events in the late 2017 application period from 2018-01-01 to 2018-03-31 for all disciplines.
