Athlete Licence 2017
Posted on | May 4, 2017 | Category: News

It is time for Federations and Athletes to make sure that all participating athletes has a valid athlete licence as the Orienteering World Cup Round 1 and MTB Orienteering World Cup Round 1 is approaching.
The Athlete licence system is updated for the 2017 season. There is an updated rules document (only minor changes), a new updated licence form and an updated management of the licences in IOF Eventor.
The licence is annual and all athletes participating in a Senior World Championship or a World Cup event need to:
- sign the agreement and
- pay the annual licence fee.
Based upon feedback received during the first year of use (2016), the agreement has been updated to better balance the obligations of the athlete and the IOF. Athletes who signed the form for the 2016 season do not need to sign the 2017 version, unless they would like to. Sign the form on paper and send the original to IOF Office.
IOF Eventor has been updated with online payment solutions, register and reports for both the Athlete and for the Federation
- Athletes can login and reach the payment solution under “My Pages”.
- The Federation can now purchase licences and assign to their athletes. The Federation roles that can manage Athlete licences (purchase and assignment) are the Administrator AND the Team Manager roles.
