The Junior World Orienteering Championships 2016 starts this weekend

The world’s top junior orienteers have gathered in Scuol, Switzerland, to enjoy a week of spectacular orienteering and to fight for medals in the Junior World Orienteering Championships.
The event opens tomorrow with a model event and Opening Ceremony. Then the action gets underway with the Sprint on Sunday, followed by the Long Distance on Monday. The Middle Distance Qualifications take place on Wednesday, ahead of the Middle Distance Final on Thursday. The Event concludes with the Relay on Friday.

- Sunday 10 July: Sprint – 09.00-12.30 CET
- Monday 11 July: Long Distance – 09.00-16.30 CET
- Tuesday 12 July: Rest day / Model event
- Wednesday 13 July: Middle Qualifications – 10.00-12.30 CET
- Thursday 14 July: Middle Finals – 09.00-13.30 CET
- Friday 15 July: Relay – 10.30-13.15 CET
