Montenegro IOF member No. 72

At its meeting in Helsinki, Finland, the IOF Council provisionally approved the application for membership from the Mountaineering Association of Montenegro. To be final, the Council’s decision must be ratified by the XXVI Ordinary General Assembly in Lausanne in 2012.
During the past few years orienteering events, camps and trainings have been held in Montenegro. Montenegro will host the first development seminar of the South East European Working Group in March 2011.
The IOF now has 72 members.
