SportIdent statement regarding the problems at World Cup Sprint

SportIdent has issued a statement regarding the problems experienced with SI Air+ at the Orienteering World Cup Sprint race last Saturday.
In it they state: After analyzing information from the event, we can confirm that the misconfiguration of the stations, which centres around the Eco mode, was made possible by a deficiency in our software Config+. We take full responsibility for this defect, which effectively led to the inconsistent punching experience. The misconfiguration was not an operator error.
The statement continues with an explanation of the deficiency and what is being done to rectify it. It is expected that the problem will be fixed within 2 weeks. However, as a general rule, SPORTident continues to recommend to test stations’ functionality before each event.
