Helena Jansson’s new life
Posted on | June 7, 2015 | Category: Arena
Since March, Helena Jansson has also had normal work. That gives cause for reflection for the Swedish star.
In January Helena finished her studies to be a doctor. Since March she has been working as a doctor in Stockholm. “I am working two days a week. It’s 28 per cent of full work”, she says. In her new work she is facing challenges she is not used to at all. “It gives me something extra to meet people who have extra challenges to struggle with”, Helena says.
The 30-year-old Swede won the Middle distance in Munkedal along with the Sprint Relay in Halden. She is a big step in front of her plans and goals some months ago. When her foot was operated on last autumn she set three goals. “The first one was to be healthy again. The second was WOC in Strömstad next year, and the third one was just called 2015. I didn’t know what I could hope for this year”.
The recovery has gone very well. She is definitely becoming a favourite name for the coming WOC.
