World Trail Orienteering Championships: Victories to Ukraine and Sweden

World Trail Orienteering Championships ended today at the Miskolc Zoo. Lennart Wahlgren (SWE), who was leading the paralympic class after the first day performed well today too and secured a victory in the competition. In the open class, the world champion title went to Vitaliy Kirichenko, who was on the 8th place after the Day 1. Lauri Kontkanen from Finland got silver and Haruo Kimura (JPN) bronze.
Ukraine won the team competition, which included the results of the two best paralympic and two best open class athletes of the country. For full results, please visit the organisers’ homepage.
