World MTB Orienteering Championships: Final results published

Mountain Bike Orienteering World Ranking leader Christine Schaffner (SUI), and Ruslan Gritsan (RUS), sixth on the World Ranking, won the long distance competitions in Poland on Friday. On Saturday, Finland took gold in women’s and Denmark in men’s relay.
Valeriy Glukhov (RUS) became the king of the first Junior MTB Orienteering Championships by winning the long distance competition and getting bronze in the relay. All in all, he won two gold, one silver and one bronze medal in the competitions. Svetlana Poverina (RUS) won the long distance in Women 20. The relay victories went to Czech Republic (Women 20) and Finland (Men 20).
