World Championships organisers appointed

At the 24th IOF Ordinary General Assembly held 18.7.2008 in Prostejov, Czech Republic, Switzerland was appointed organiser of the 2012 World Orienteering Championships, and the 2011 World Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships were awarded to Italy.
Earlier in the week, the IOF Council awarded the 2011 World Masters Orienteering Championships to Hungary and appointed Poland organiser of the Junior World Orienteering Championships in 2011. The 2009 World Masters Ski Orienteering Championships were allocated to Austria.
