Christer Rolf new member of IOF Medical Commission

The IOF Council has appointed Christer Rolf (SWE) member of the IOF Medical Commission.
“It is a great pleasure to welcome professor Christer Rolf from Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, to IOF Medical Commission”, says professor Olli Heinonen, Chairman of the Medical Commission, and continues: “Christer is an internationally acknowledged expert in Sports Medicine and he has also worked as Team Doctor for the Swedish National Orienteering Squad in 1982-1996.
Christer is an experienced specialist in orthopedics and sports medicine. He is now working as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Head of Arthroscopy and Sport Injury Department of Orthopaedics, Karolinska University Hospital and as the Professor of Sports Medicine at the Department of Clinical Science, Intervention and Biotechnology, Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden.
Christer has also a strong international career and he has been working many years in Hong Kong and United Kingdom.
It a great honor and priviledge to have Christer as a new member in the IOF Medical Commission.”
