Emit Touch Free Punching approved for World Ranking Events

Emit has applied for approval to use Emit Touch Free Punching at IOF World Ranking Events (WRE). In accordance with the Punching Approval document, the required punching reports (from four WREs or equivalent in at least two different Federations) were submitted and show that the system worked well. The system is currently Provisionally Approved for use in WREs but that will expire in July 2015.
The IOF Council has now granted Final Approval for use of Emit Touch Free Punching (version 2013 and onwards) at World Ranking Events, provided that Emit publish:
a) Instructions for Competitors
b) Instructions and a Checklist for Organisers.
A system which is finally approved for WRE may be requested to be used for IOF World Events. It will then be subject to a process designed to support the Organiser and Event Adviser in ensuring proper handling and implementation of the system.
