Tyumen is ready!

European Ski Orienteering Championships kick off today with Mixed Relay. The events can be followed live online on the ESOC website, and with either English or Russian commentary: http://esoc2014.ru/live/
When arriving to Tyumen, the athletes were surprised to find the huge and spectacular ski stadium, Pearl of Siberia. The hotels where the teams stay has just been built and the ski orienteers are the first customers there. They have already been giving interviews for TV, too.
Yesterday, ESOC and World Cup participants took part in the model event. After them, young orienteers from local orienteering club “Ermak” tested the EMIT punching system in a training race.
Everything is ready for the races to start!
