Orienteering at SportAccord Convention

The IOF is for the first time as an exhibitor in the centre of the sports world – at the SportAccord Convention.
The SportAccord Convention is a 6-day gathering of over 2000 leading representatives from international sport. Held in a different country each year, it encompasses the Congress and General Assemblies of three Associations whose members consist of over 100 International Sports Federations and member Associations. SportAccord Convention provides the global sports community with an unrivalled opportunity to gather in an exclusive networking environment, to build relationships, expand horizons and broaden sport’s collective endeavours. The IOF attends the Convention every year, but this year is the first when orienteering is presented with a stand at the exhibition.
This year’s SportAccord Convention is held in St Petersburg, Russia, 26-31 May. Reports and photos from the exhibition will be published on the IOF website during the week.
