IOF Foot Orienteering Athletes’ Commission appointed

Six athletes have been appointed members of the IOF Foot Orienteering Athletes’ Commission. Matthias Merz (SUI), the Athletes’ Commission Coordinator, will work together with Amélie Chataing (FRA), Ida Bobach (DEN), Lizzie Ingham (NZL), Mårten Boström (FIN) and William Lind (SWE) to give the athletes’ views on current topics to the IOF Foot Orienteering Commission and IOF Council.
IOF Vice President Mike Dowling, who is the foot orienteering liaison person in the IOF Council, is very happy that the Athletes’ Commission for foot orienteering has been re-established. “I want to thank the members of the Commission for taking on the important role of representing our athletes and look forward to working with them in taking our great sport forward”, Dowling says.
