Responses to the proposed WMTBOC long distance start slot allocation model
Posted on | January 14, 2013 | Category: News
The IOF Council decided in its October meeting to remove the Long distance qualification event from the World MTB Orienteering Championships programme and to replace it by an allocation of start slots to federations. A proposed allocation model prepared by the IOF MTB Orienteering Commission was distributed to national federations for hearing in December 2012.
The IOF has now received feedback from nine federations and the comments will be considered by the IOF MTB Orienteering Commission before they prepare their final proposal to be decided on in the upcoming IOF Council meeting.
