08/01/2014 || SkiO World Cup Events 7 and 8 to be moved to Orsa Grönklitt ||News||
The organiser of Ski Orienteering World Cup Round 2 events in Sweden has decided to move events 7 and 8 from Mora to Orsa Grönklitt due to the lack of snow. All Swedish events will now be held in Orsa Grönklitt. The organiser has confirmed that the event programme will stay similar to the one published in bulletin 3.

The national quotas for Orienteering World Cup 2014 competitions 1-3, 7-9 and 13 have been determined. The federations getting eight places in the men’s class will be Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Czech Republic and Great Britain. The federations with 8 places in women’s class will be Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Norway, Czech Republic and Russia.

Our Athlete of January, Hans Jørgen Kvåle, is an extraordinary athlete in many ways. Despite his young age he has managed both to establish his position in the top of the ski orienteering world, and lead the IOF Ski Orienteering Athletes’ Commission successfully.
