An IOF Trail Orienteering Event Advisers’ Clinic will be organised in Palmela, Portugal, 19-20 October 2013. National orienteering federations are asked to identify and enter suitable candidates.

The Trail Orienteering Commission has decided on the programme for next year’s unofficial European Cup in Trail Orienteering.

The IOF Council has appointed Croatia as the organiser of the 2015 World Trail Orienteering Championships. The competitions are planned to be held in the capital city, Zagreb.

The IOF Council has revised the categories and prizes for IOF World Cup. Changes will be implemented already for season 2014.

The IOF MTB Orienteering and Rules Commissions will be organising an IOF MTB Orienteering Event Advisers’ and Organisers’ Clinic in Grândola, Portugal, in conjuntion with MTB Orienteering World Cup and World Masters MTB Orienteering Championships 2013.

With one round to go in the MTB Orienteering World Cup, the final outcome is very open in both women’s and men’s classes. Following last week’s World Championships, Cecilia Thomasson, Sweden leads the women’s standings and Tõnis Erm, Estonia the men’s.
